Amanda has been taken prisoner and is taken into a room where a chair has already been prepared for her - handcuffs, padlocked straps, cloth and duct tape. She is ordered to sit on the chair and secure her own ankles, then stuff a cloth into her own mouth and duct tape herself to prevent her spitting it out. Finally, she is made to handcuff her wrists behind the back of the chair, the handcuffs attached to the chair back by zip ties. Amanda, now completely immobilized, is left alone, her captor saying he will be back to check on her in the evening. Amanda struggles for a minute or two and quickly realizes the futility of doing so. At the same time, she is not willing to just surrender and do nothing. Instead, she inches the chair across the room, not an easy thing to do on a carpet, turns it around and uses the door handle to remove the duct tape covering her mouth. Holding the door handle in her teeth, she manages to pull the door open a little way, then turns and uses a foot to pull it open further. She exists the room and goes in search of some way out of her predicament. In an adjacent room, she sees a phone sitting on a table and works her way over to it. The problem now is how to reach it with her hands cuffed behind the chair. She positions herself and tips the chair up on two legs, struggling to reach the phone's keypad with her nose. will she succeed in calling for help?
