Kim is hopelessly lost. She's not getting a GPS signal and has no choice other than to approach an old guy in the garage of his house to ask for directions. While she is requesting help, the old guy reacts strangely, saying it's a pity she had to come here. He holds Kim up and she instinctively backs away, but he warns her not to run. He forces her to enter the garage, sit on a chair and handcuff herself. With her partially secure, he moves in and ties her to the chair with a good deal of rope, stuffing a cloth into her mouth and gagging her. He departs, ostensibly to move Kim's car out of sight. Kim seizes the opportunity to move her chair across to a table where the old guy has a saw, because she has noticed a handcuffs key in among all the padlocks and other paraphernalia. She knocks into the table, trying to dislodge the key. She turns herself again, repeatedly knocking the table, and miraculously the key falls and she happens to catch it. Kim unlocks one of the cuffs, but in her frantic hurry to free herself, she leans sideways and the chair tips over, sending her crashing to the floor. From this prone position, she unties all the ropes, unlocks the other handcuff and makes a run for her car. In her panic, she forgets that she has locked the car door. Where are the damn keys?! Before she has a chance to think things through, the old guy grabs her from behind, presses a cloth over her nose and mouth and holds her until she falls limb. When she wakes up, she discovers that the old guy has removed all of her clothes, leaving her only her panties. She is handcuffed and shackled to a bed, helpless, vulnerable, and facing the realization that there will be no second opportunity to make an escape attempt.
